IPL Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation

The theory component needed prior to hands-on training is available by Zoom and can be booked and completed prior to this hands-on course starting. Then I offer this 2 day face to face training with concentrated hands-on practice on models that you supply.

A Laser Safety certificate is a pre-requisite for this hands-on course along with the IPL theory unit.

This IPL course is offered on-site at your clinic/salon anywhere within Australia and New Zealand.  The cost is a flat rate fee per clinic/salon for up to 4 staff members plus any travel and accomodation.  Contact Trudy directly to discuss fee structure. 

There are strict pre-requisites for this course and limited numbers in the classes. Course includes: notes, clinical training in all modalities, assessment and certificate upon successful completion. 

This course is available to doctors, nurses, and beauty/dermal therapists.  

Day 1 you will be performingIPL hair removing on models that you supply.  we will start off on legs then move up the body to include bikini, underarms and face.

skin rejuvenation techniques on day 2 include full face rejuvenation, neck, decolletage as these are the main areas of concern to clients.  specific pigment and vascular treatments need to be considered at a later date when the clinician is competent with using IPL devices.

Tissue interaction, wavelength, fluence and pulse width considerations along with skin type and tan issues are all included and discussed.  Contraindications and special precautions, photo-sensetive drugs along with consultation techniques are thoroughly covered.  Hands-on training is with a range of clients who are booked in for hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments by the clinic in colaboration with Trudy.  Please discuss timing of model bookings with her.  You will follow and complete full documentation as well as treatment procedures.  All procedures are fully supervised by Trudy.
